Big Huge Labs allows you to edit your photos in creative ways...from billboards to motivational posters, there are some fun ways to play around with your pics.
Infuse Learning is free to sign up and students do not need a login. It is similar to Kahoot but you have the ability to view student responses and show them on the projector through your computer (and also save responses). It can be done from the iPad, and there is no app to download, students just type in the address:
and then just type in your class number. The best part about it for me is that you can have students show their work or drawings, submit it to you and then you can show them to the class and also save their responses. You can also save the responses to look back at.
You can check out the RCPS Tech Tool Kit for videos and info on some of the tools that are used most frequently within in the county. Some teachers are also sharing this link with their students for assignments.
A great Timeline site and app are available to use for both teachers and students. It is free from the iTunes store (click the image to the left). You can create, save your timeline, print and send it by email when you are done, all without ever signing in with an account (especially when using a computer). Check it out!
